Leopard geckos (Eublepharis Macularius) are small, ground-dwelling lizards native to arid regions of South Asia, including Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India. Known for their distinctive spotted patterns and friendly demeanour, they have become popular pets worldwide. Unlike many other geckos, Leopard Geckos have eyelids, allowing them to blink, and they lack sticky toe pads, meaning they cannot climb smooth surfaces. They are nocturnal, primarily feeding on insects, and store fat in their tails as an energy reserve. Their hardy nature and relatively simple care requirements make them ideal for reptile enthusiasts of all levels.
